Sustainabowl

Ethically-sourced, artisanal poké and açaí eatery in Playa Vista emphasizing sustainable practices and community dining.

Approached by the food-savvy owners during initial stages, we conceptualized Sustainabowl and pushed to have the establishment reflect it’s name in every way: ethically caught fish, locally-sourced organic ingredients, reusable dining ware, compostable takeaway packaging, vegan options, and so on.

In-store collateral inspires and encourages visitors to consider their consumption, noting statistics on plastic pollution and marine scarcity in a lighthearted but informative manner. I was proudly able to certify Sustainabowl as an Ocean Friendly Restaurant on behalf of Surfrider Foundation.
